With one round remaining, there were 4 people leading in a total of 8. This made the last round exciting. Only Aronian managed to win his last round game and thereby winning the super GM chess tournament. Leko who was the leader for most part of the tournament lost both the last two rounds and was placed only third. Topalov and Radjabov took second place. Overall this was very exciting tournement with lots of fighting chess. Topalov’s incredible come back from last place to second proves that he is world championship material.

Another big chess tournament at linares is almost going to end. Currently Leko is leading by half point. World champion Topalov did not do well in the first half of the tournament which took place at Morelia in Mexico. In the second half he has come back with three consecutive wins. Last two rounds will be interesting. Also Leko is the only player without any loss until now. Everyone else has atleast two losses!
